Split PDF

Pull specific pages out of a PDF — a single page, a range like 2-5, or any combination like 1,3,7-9 — into a new document. Runs fully in your browser; the file is never uploaded.

🔒 100% private — this tool runs in your browser; files are never uploaded.

How it works

  1. Add your PDF. Drop a PDF onto the page or pick it with the file browser. It is read locally in your browser.
  2. Choose pages. Type the pages to keep — for example "1,3,7-9" or "2-5". The page count is shown so you know the valid range.
  3. Split and download. Click Extract. A new PDF containing only those pages is built in your browser and downloaded.

Honest limitations

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Page extraction runs entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device.

What page syntax is supported?

Comma-separated single pages and ranges, in any order: "3", "2-5", "1,3,7-9", or "9-7" to reverse a range. Pages outside the document are reported as errors rather than silently dropped.

Can I split one PDF into many files at once?

This tool produces one output per extraction. To produce several files, run it once per page set — each run takes seconds since nothing is uploaded.
